Summer
2005
The British Centre facelift ...
We
are having a busy summer !!! During the summer, the British
Centre is carrying out some improvements to the front of the building.
Due to the volume of traffic that now uses the street Bolivia to travel
from Galerias to Gonzalitos, we have decided to make some improvements for
picking up and dropping off children at the front of the building. These
include a new stairway entrance, demolition of just about all of the front
wall and fence and a ramp in and ramp out in front of the building to
enable parents to comfortably drive onto the premises and drop off
or pick up their children without having to stop in the the road outside
and face the wrath of other drivers who impatiently wait behind for a few
seconds while the future of this country go to or leave their English
classes!
This should help to ensure
the safety of your children and make life a little more comfortable for
the mums and dads!

Spring 2005
The British Centre on the IT highway ...
We
have had a busy spring !!! During the spring, the British
Centre considerably upgraded its IT department with an array of new hardware
ranging from PCs to the internal network, established a new connection
to a very fast Internet service provider (ISP) and created an intranet
communication system for staff use.
This should help to ensure that our staff work even more
effectively when serving our clients and our teacher team at the BC has
a much faster access to the Internet to enable easy communication with
their students.
